A Tour de France - Special Edition Wine Tasting Stay from £360*
Welcome to Chapter 8 of our Wine Series and this is a special edition celebrating the wines of France. French wines are renowned worldwide for their historical significance, quality and variety and for the “terroir”. France has been producing wine for over 2,500 years, and its winemaking traditions have influenced wine regions globally. With a variety of wine regions, each with its unique climate, soil, and grape varieties it boasts some of the most famous wine making regions of the world including Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, and the Rhône Valley.
And we have chosen 21st November to host this event – a big day in the French winemaking calendar – celebrating the release of the first Beaujolais Nouveau but it also acts as a broader celebration of French wine culture and the joy of winemaking. The evening starts at 6.45pm with canapés and arrival drink, with food served 7:30pm and aims to finish at 11pm. This package adds a beautiful night’s sleep and plentiful breakfast to finish the event in style.

Bike, Bed & Breakfast Break from £300* for Two
Our luxury retreat, is truly a gem of a location. If soaking up the serenity is not for you and you’re a restless soul yearning for adventure, we’ve crafted a perfect break for two. Picture yourself enjoying a peaceful bed and breakfast stay in our Superior Room, followed by a specially curated eBike tour with PeakEPedals that starts and ends at the hotel, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the stunning countryside.
This is a self-guided, mapped three-hour tour around the local area. You will pass by Stone Edge Cupola (Britain’s oldest free-standing chimney) and meander through some of Derbyshire’s hidden hamlets. This is an easy tour that takes you on a 13-mile round trip directly from Peak Edge Hotel and back.

This year we are inviting you to join us for our Boxing Day Lunch or Dinner in Red Lion Restaurant, then enjoy a package to include an overnight stay for two in a Superior Room or a Feature Room and delicious breakfast the following morning. After all the organisation (and sometimes stress) leading up to the big day, Boxing Day can be the perfect antidote and time to start the relaxation process in true style!
